Q: I have no Heat and or No Hot Water, What do I do?
A:1. Is your Emergency Switch on?
 2.Are there any Blown Fuses or Circuit breakers tripped?
 3.Is your Thermostat calling for heat? (Heat set higher than room temperature)
 4.Is your thermostat programmable, if so have you replaced the batteries?
 5.Do you have Oil?
 6.Do you have a steam boiler, if so do you have enough water in site glass?
 7. Have you pressed the reset button on relay, if not do so ONLY ONCE!!!
 8.If burner stays running call office in the am/ if burner does not stay running
   CALL OFFICE IMMEDIATELY at 1-508-755-9512
 9. If burner has gone off on reset, this means that there is a problem with the burner that doesn’t go away by itself. PLEASE call the office and make arrangements to have your burner serviced as soon as possible.

Q:I hear water running through my pipes, what do I do?
A: Call the office as soon as possible, there could be a number of problems wrong. ie. water feeder, float vents, or even a water leak.

Q:Why does my boiler sound like a 747?
A: Call the office IMMEDIATELY, (most likely a powerventer problem).

Q:How much oil do I have?
A: The average household has a Vertical 275-gallon oil tank, if this is true for you; At an 1/8 of a tank you have 5.5" which is 22 gallons, at a 1/4 tank you have 58 gallons and at a 1/2 tank you have 136 gallons. The average household burns 5-7 gallons a day for heat and hot water applications.

Q:How do I figure out what size oil tank I have?
A:Most oil tanks have a plate stamped to it that will tell you the size.

Q: Can I prime my oil burner myself?
A:NO!! You must have a licensed oil burner technician prime your burner.
(#2 home heating oil is considered a Hazardous waste product that must be disposed of properly.)

Q: How often should I have my boiler cleaned?
A: Yearly. Having your boiler cleaned once a year will assure you that you are getting optimum efficiency out of your boiler. It will also eliminate late night service problems resulting in no heat.

Q:What are the oil payment terms and are there payment options?
 Basic Terms:
  - Payment Due in full within 10 days of oil delivery will receive a discount of .05 cents per gallon
(amount will be incenter of invoice).
 - Payment after 10 days is due in full at full price (amount at bottom of invoice).
 - Payments received after 30 days are subject to a finance charge
 
 Payment Options:
  - Pay by Credit Card: All charges by Credit Cared are subject to a three-dollar fee
  - Auto Pay by Credit Card. Credit Card Number is kept on file and is automatically charged by office at
discounted price upon posting. An Invoice marked PAID will be sent to you for your records.
 - Budget: The budget program takes the average of the past two years of oil consumption and then divides it into
10 equal payments paid monthly.
  - Auto Pay Budget by Credit Card: Credit Card Number is kept on file and is automatically charged by the office on the last businessday of the month for the budget amount assigned. A monthly statement marked PAID will be sent to you for your records.
  - Custom: In today's growing economy we know that everyone is different and require different needs, that’s why we are committed to providing our customers with the individual attention that they need. We will customize any reasonable payment arrangement for customer convenience.

Q:Do you offer any Price Protection Programs?
A:YES.
Each Year Management collaborates to come up with the most competitive yet economical price programs to offer our existing and potential new customers. Each and every year can be different due to the ever-changing market. Our consultants do the best that they can to find you our customer the best prices. We try to have price programs available by the end of June and the beginning of July but this is not always feasible because projected info. is not as reliable as management would like it. At this time we would ask our customers to have patience and trust that we are doing the best to protect them. Without you our Customer there is No Petroleum Service of Worc.

Q:If I am on a price program do I get the five cents off per gallon if I pay within 10 days discount?
A:Yes and No.
 - The cap program already gives you the lowest price possible
 - The fixed price program is just that, Fixed. there is no discount
 - The budget payment program is the price posted for your delivery as long as your budget is current

Q:Can I be denied an oil delivery as a customer?
A:Yes. We are a private company that has the right to deny you your oil if you have a balance. All oil deliveries must be paid in full before you can receive another delivery. If when your ticket is printed for delivery there is a balance due it will be held until payment is received. We will attempt to contact you the customer by phone or mail to remind you of your balance due and to try to come to a reasonable solution to prevent you from running out.

Q: What if I run out of oil with a balance due?
A:Payment will be due in full for your past due balance. There will also be an Emergency Delivery fee of $125 due upon delivery or added to your account (at dispatchers discretion).
